Startup Abuja will host its 2026 Conference on 14th November, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Merit House in Maitama, Abuja.
This free hybrid event will bring together founders, investors, developers, and policymakers under the theme; Unlocking New Frontiers: AI, Talent & Strategic Investment.
The biggest attraction, however, may come at the end of the event.
Finalists participating in the Startup Innovation Challenge 2026 Final Pitch & Awards Ceremony will compete for a prize pool worth over ₦100 million.
The prize pool consists of cash prizes, AWS cloud credits, business mentorship and training, and business support. The first-place winner will receive a package valued at ₦10 million, comprising ₦5 million in cash, ₦4 million in AWS credits, and ₦1 million in business mentorship/training. The second-place winner will receive ₦8 million in value, while the third-place winner will receive ₦7 million in value. Runner-up participants will also receive cash prizes and AWS credits, while selected participants will have access to AWS credits. The prizes are equity-free.
Registration for the free, hybrid conference is already open. According to the programme’s website, the day will include keynote sessions from industry leaders, high-level panel discussions on building resilient and scalable businesses, and deep dives into cloud infrastructure, AI adoption, and digital transformation. The programme also includes structured networking sessions, funding and partnership conversations aimed at connecting founders with investors directly.
The conference is positioned as one of Startup Abuja’s flagship yearly events, built to bring together the people shaping Africa’s digital economy. Organisers describe the day as designed for the whole innovation value chain; startup founders, entrepreneurs and SMEs, developers and tech professionals, investors and venture builders, corporate innovation leaders, and government and ecosystem stakeholders.
The day’s centrepiece is the Startup Innovation Challenge 2026 Final Pitch, where startups selected from thousands of applications will present their solutions to judges, investors, and ecosystem leaders. Winning startups will share prizes worth over ₦100 million, alongside investment exposure and ecosystem support.
